Flex IT is the market leader in Circular IT hardware and is growing aggressively in the European market. For this we are looking to increase our internal Sales capacity by expanding on our team. The Account Manager reports to the Team Leader Sales (Germany), who in turn reports directly to our Director of Sales, located in Italy. Overall our sales team is 90+ employees strong across 11 regions in Europe.
As a an Account Manager with Flex IT you are expected to organize your working time in what we call the Daily Mandatory Structure (DMS); meaning that you will spend 25% of your time hunting and generating new leads and customers, 25% of your time will be spent developing existing and recently acquired customer base, while the remaining 50% of your time will be spent on after sales follow-up and procedures.
The Daily Mandatory Structure (DMS) will play a fundamental role in developing yourself as a strong sales individual, but also in developing future growth and meeting the established KPI’s of the organization as a whole.
Tasks & Responsibilities
Within this function you will not be given any customer leads, but rather be expected to hunt and generate your own leads, and essentially build your own customer foundation from scratch.
You will hunt proactively by using known and creative channels to capture the relevant pool of customers.
You will work tirelessly to convert your hard-earned leads into actual buying customer.
You are committed to acquiring knowledge and interest in the customers pool we as an organization operate and want to expand in.
You will work within a niche industry of IT resellers, and this drives your continued curiosity in wanting to develop in this niche further.
Skills & Competences
You have previous experience in a (tele)sales function.
You do not shy away and are strong in your negotiation skills.
You are commercially savvy by nature and have the innate ability to recognize an opportunity and pursue it.
You are able to maintain a healthy balance between customer, result and quality.
You are strong in working in a structured manner, and can get the most out of your day in this way.
You are well spoken in both German as well as English, and have the ability to naturally engage new leads and generate interest in our business and product.
You are able to present yourself and Flex IT in a positive light to internal as well as external stakeholders and customers.
You possess the ability to identify changes in the market, product needs, or customer and to deploy adequate solutions.
You are able to give and receive constructive feedback within your team setting.
