Tasks and Responsibilities

Tasks & Responsibilities

As the HR generalist you will be responsible for a solid international HR base within Flex IT. You’re the first point of contact and you will advise and support managers and employees in all HR areas, such as HR administration, employee development and engagement, employment cases, compensation & benefits. Furthermore, you will play a significant role in further automation of our processes and tools. You will work autonomously in this role and you take ownership of your responsibilities. Furthermore, you need to have a service-minded attitude at all times and have a sharp eye for detail. You get energized by keeping overview over all HR processes, and are the HR backbone of your region when it comes to a rock-solid HR foundation!

 

You will be part of the international HR Team, located in various regions across Europe.  And you will report directly to the HR director, based in The Netherlands.

 

What your day will look like

  • Managing all operational HR related activities (i.e. new starters, leavers, transfers, mutations, HR reporting);
  • Ensure all employee and HR data is correct and up to date, using our HR processes and systems (SAP SuccessFactors);
  • Keeping overview of a dynamic international scope of various entities in your region, for which you coordinate and process personnel transactions;
  • Working directly with internal stakeholders such as employees and managers in your region, the HR team and Finance, but also with external parties like international payroll providers and local HR partners;
  • Managing the monthly international payroll process (insert mutations, check for correct data) together with our payroll controller and company ADP;
  • Ensuring data privacy and HR compliance;
  • Close collaboration with the HR team to transform needs and regulations into automated HR processes and tools.

Skills & Competences

What you bring to the role

  • A completed Bachelor degree, in Human Resources, Business Administration or another relevant study;
  • You are a strong communicator in English & Dutch
  • Widespread knowledge of the Dutch HR landscape (labor law, social security, tax and legal legislation, immigration, etc. Additional knowledge of other European countries’ HR landscape is a big bonus)
  • You have experience with the personnel system SAP SuccessFactors and ADP;
  • You know how to keep your head cool in a dynamic Sales-driven environment and you do not lose sight of priorities;
  • Ability to work and think independently;
  • You are a strong and firm sparring partner to management and a source of information for employees.
  • You are decisive, accurate, initiative-oriented, result-driven and are eager to learn;
  • You have the ability to work well with colleagues of different levels in the organization;
  • Experience with project- and change management is a pre;
  • Advanced Excel and MS Office skills;
  • Ability to work in a complex, international and regulated environment;
  • Integrity is important to you, where you can handle confidential information well.
